Together with a hive mind mentality our team's goal was to create a dental practice that's as much about the experience as it is about the expertise. Transforming the traditional dental office into a modern, inviting space with state-of-the-art technology.

Priyanka Nairi, DDS

DENTIST

Hi, I’m Dr. Priyanka!

I’ve been practicing dentistry for over a decade, with a focus on esthetic and restorative care. I love helping people feel confident in their smiles and making the dental chair a little less intimidating. I did my dental training in India and later completed a residency at UCLA before making Chicago my home.

Outside the office, you can usually find me traveling, cooking, playing the
piano, or running by the lake.

Akshi Chhabria, DDS

DENTIST

Hi, I’m Dr. Akshi!

I grew up in Cleveland, OH and spent eight years at The Ohio State University (Go bucks!), where I completed both my undergraduate studies and dental school.

Now I call Chicago home, living in Lakeview with my husband and our baby girl. In my free time, I enjoy traveling and trying new restaurants, and snowblading down mountains in the wintertime.

DENTIST

Dr. Yousef is a skilled surgeon with a focus in extractions, wisdom tooth removal, implants, including all-on-4 / full mouth implants and sedation dentistry. His dedication to patient comfort and cutting-edge techniques is evident in his extensive training and clinical experience. With a high interest in dental surgery, Dr Yousef completed a hospital based general practice residency followed by an implant fellowship. With over 600 hours of continuing education, he remains at the forefront of dental implant advancements. Beyond his clinical practice, Dr. Yousef shares his knowledge as a Dental Attending at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, mentoring the next generation of dental professionals. When not immersed in the world of dentistry, he enjoys the tranquility of biking along the lakefront path and aspires to become a dedicated runner.

Scott Overholser, DDS

OWNER

I am a long-time resident of Lakeshore East with 28 years of dentistry experience. I firmly believe that Dentistry can change people’s lives which really drives my passion for the field. I love using the latest technology with modern techniques to create extraordinary patient results. 

Over the course of my career, I have been lucky enough to work with the amazing people in the Chicago community as well as visiting celebrities and international royalty. With 100’s of 5-star reviews on Google, I fundamentally believe in open communication; patient education and a gentle touch to ensure a comfortable experience that empowers patients. To help create my practice environment, I only work with like-minded dentists and staff who are warm, empathetic and passionate about creating a great experience for our patients. 

Originally a Hoosier, I received my DDS from Indiana University and grew up in nearby Mooresville outside of Indianapolis, Indiana. When I'm not in the office, I love being a tourist in my own city and spending time with my family, pet bulldog and cat.

From the moment I walked in the door and was warmly greeted by Courtney, Ana and Afman to when I left, everyone and everything was as good as it could possibly be. Dr. Akshi listened to my concerns, was so gentle and so incredibly thorough, this was the first time I've not had some sort of pain during a dental visit. They are hi-tech and hi-touch whihc is hard to find these days. And dental assistant, Liz, was welcoming, friendly and so knowledgable - I learned some things I was doing while brushing that I shouldnt and no dental visit has ever said a thing about - both just top notch professionals. Afnan at the front desk was amazing — friendly, efficient, and got me scheduled right away. Liz, who handled my X-rays and screening, was an absolute highlight. She was so kind, upbeat, and genuinely fun to chat with — not something you can usually say about a dental appointment! Dr. Akshi was also fantastic: friendly, knowledgeable, and thorough with both the exam and her explanation of Invisalign options.     “After having some complications and difficulties with a certain tooth where the crown had been replaced three times in the last four years and then recently fell out, I went to Lakeview Dental Arts and the experience was absolutely fantastic. I was introduced to Dr. Youssuf who is their oral surgeon and he extracted the tooth. While getting a tooth pulled is never good, he put me at ease and handled it professionally and compassionately! He even gave me his personal phone number in case a problem arose. I did have a minor complication and he addressed it immediately. Long story short it has healed perfectly and for the first time in five years, l am no longer in pain. And, due to where the tooth is, l do not need an implant or a bridge. Dr. Yousef is extremely talented, competent and compassionate!!! I am so very grateful!”

    With a passion for business and a love for all things dental I could not imagine doing anything else! I really love that we have the incredible honor & opportunity to change people's lives through dentistry. When I am not collaborating with my dental dream team, you can find me biking the lakefront path; kayaking; and spending quality time with my husband, cat and bulldog.

    Hi, I’m Irina. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene in 1998 and have helped patients maintain healthy smiles ever since. LDA has been my home since 2019 — it truly feels like family. My childhood dental experiences weren’t the best, so I’m passionate about creating a comfortable, positive experience where patients feel cared for. Outside the office, I’m cheering on my favorite hockey player (my kid!), traveling, trying new recipes, and spending time with family and friends. I take smiles seriously — but not myself.
